KENNEL POLICIES WANT TO VISIT US? PLEASE READ BELOW FOR APPOINTMENT AND HEALTH INFO: PLEASE be considerate and schedule an appointment when stopping by our kennel and/or for evaluation of your dog. We have many reservations and appointments scheduled, therefore, in order to allow us devoted time with you please call before stopping in. Also, other dogs/pets that you bring to “just visit” must meet health requirements or stay in your vehicle at all times. Please call us at 814/739-9524. We train bird dogs from all over the country and may have a litter of puppies on our grounds at any time; therefore, we require strict health requirements before your dog arrives at our kennel. Please click here to obtain a copy of our health requirements, which you will need to take to your Veterinarian. We appreciate the expense and inconvenience this may cause but we know you will feel secure in knowing that every dog at our kennel has gone through this process. Our kennels are located adjacent to our home, this provides maximum supervision, protection and safety. Our kennels each have a concrete floor, which is disinfected with antibacterial pet safe cleaners. Your dog will be placed on our super premium dog food (chicken and lamb formula) upon arrival. You may bring a small potion of food, if different, to wean your dog off your diet and on to our diet. If your dog has special dietary needs, please bring enough food for the entire stay. If your dog is on special medications and we agree to take your dog anyway, you may be billed for medication administration while your dog is here. Also, your dog's special medications must be from a licensed Vet clearly labeled on how/when/where to administer the medications. Please do not bring your dog with a special/expensive collar. We recommend a generic, cheap but sturdy collar with metal buckles and a nameplate (riveted or slide on) affixed to it (your dog will be hunting in heavy cover). We will place an additional slide on nameplate identifying your dog as staying at our kennel for the time they are here. Females should be at least three months away from expected heat cycle or at least one month beyond their last heat cycle before sending her to us for training.
